Dear Parents:
Our annual Walk-a-thon is scheduled for Sunday, October 2nd from 12p.m. to 2p.m. at the Knights of Columbus. All students, families and friends are welcome to walk our track and enjoy an afternoon of fun. If you cannot join us on this day, you can still take part, by helping your child bring in money pledges for his/her class. There will be a school-wide competition to see which three grades can raise the most donations in pledges and mailers. The class that brings in the most money will get to select first from the following amazing prizes:
• An afternoon pizza & dance party in the parish center
• A mini golf outing
• A pizza party for the class at ABC Pizza
A giant bar graph will be posted on the wall of the cafeteria to track each grade’s progress until the day of the walk-a-thon. For every $50 brought in, the bar graph will grow. For families with multiple children each child will be given full credit equally.
Letters and return envelopes will be sent home with your child for you to mail to family and friends. Please have your child(ren) address and sign the letters. Those who pledge can send their checks directly to St. Anthony School. If you need more mailers please contact the Advancement office at 379-5410.
If you have a family business and would like to be a sponsor you have until September 14th. Different sponsorship levels are available, for example, your business name can be listed on water bottle giveaways! See our sponsor / vendor registration form.
The Walk-a-thon is a great opportunity to help fulfill your family commitment! 85% of the pledge money your family brings in will be applied directly toward your family commitment!
