A parochial school for children age 3 through grade 8, Saint Anthony School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
Founded in 1865 under the Franciscan order, St. Anthony School is the longest continuously operating school in the Hartford Archdiocese, graduating thousands of students who have gone on to complete their academic careers with distinction. We are a community of faith-filled people dedicated to providing a Catholic education to the children of St. Joseph Parish and neighboring communities.
Our Mission
St. Anthony School provides a strong academic program for students in Pre K–8 and strives to instill religious, social, and intellectual principles into the mind and heart of each child. In the spirit of St. Francis, St. Anthony School guides students toward their development as faith-filled Catholics and responsible citizens in our complex, ever-changing society.
