Why Advancement
In a few word we’d like to explain what SAS Advancement is, and what we do for our school and for you.
SAS Advancement works on public relations and publicity for our school, recruitment efforts and maintains a relationship with our alumni. The biggest job of SAS Advancemnt is in meeting our financial commitment each year. Each year’s goal accounts for about 12% of our school’s budget.
The money is raised by some wonderful and exciting events during the shcool year, as well as our annual fund drive, and the parent commitment earned by each of our school families.
Each family is given a parent commitment, which can be raised or paid. By helping to support Advancement events, such as the Walkathon, Auction, Wine tasting, Golf Tournament, etc., we can work toward a goal of maintaining or possibly decreasing that commitment and keeping tuition affordable. Advancement’s main goal is to keep tuition affordable, but we need your support. We would like each family to pick one event or function to help with this year, and we will be able to meet our goal.
