Students are taught to respect the authority of the sports officials, to demonstrate friendship and courtesy to the opposing players and to each other, to encourage leadership initiative, good judgment, and cooperation, to recognize the purpose of athletics is for the enjoyment of the students, and to develop character by promoting the physical, mental, moral, social, and emotional well-being of the individual players. |
